The strong performance in Q4 contributed to a similarly positive full-year outlook for 2023. Total revenue for the Family of Apps reached $133.0 billion, a 13.3% increase compared to the previous year. Ad revenue accounted for the vast majority of this revenue, totaling $131.9 billion for the year. This represents a year-over-year growth of 13.19%, once again emphasizing the continued importance of advertising for Meta's business model.
