Eva Mendes has revealed that her children aren't particularly impressed by her Hollywood success.

Kids prefer dad's films over mom's due to action sequences

The actress, who has two daughters with Ryan Gosling, admits that her kids aren't as interested in her movies as they are in their father's.

“They're not really impressed by my movies," Mendes tells People. "They haven't seen any of them. They're like, 'Dad's in a movie? We want to see that.'"

Mendes is not bothered by the lack of interest

But Mendes, 49, isn't bothered by her kids' lack of interest in her work. "I think it's great," she says. "They're not in the industry, they don't care about the industry, they just want to be kids."

Mendes is happy to have successful work life and personal life

Mendes is proud of her career, but she also values her family. "I'm really grateful for my career, but I'm also really grateful for my family," she says. "I have the best of both worlds."

The actress has starred in a number of films, including Training Day, Hitch and The Place Beyond the Pines.

In 2011, she married actor Ryan Gosling, with whom she has two daughters: Esmeralda, 8, and Amada, 6.

Mendes has recently returned to acting after taking a break to raise her children.

She is currently starring in the Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
