Stephen Miller: Political Advisor and Controversial Figure

Early Life and Education

Stephen Miller was born on August 23, 1985, in Santa Monica, California. He graduated from Duke University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. Miller subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law.

Political Career

Miller began his political career as a speechwriter for Congressman Rob Portman. In 2016, he joined Donald Trump's presidential campaign as an advisor on immigration policy.

After Trump's election, Miller became a senior advisor for policy and White House director of speechwriting. He played a key role in shaping Trump's immigration policies, including the "zero tolerance" policy that led to the separation of families at the border.

Miller's tenure as a Trump advisor was marked by controversy and outcry from critics who accused him of promoting white nationalism and xenophobia. He resigned from his position in 2020.
