Heat Defeat Magic 93-83 in Preseason Contest
Miami Remains Unbeaten in Exhibition Play
Orlando Falls to 0-2 in Preseason
The Miami Heat extended their preseason record to 3-0 with a 93-83 victory over the Orlando Magic on Sunday night at the Amway Center.
Miami was led by Jimmy Butler, who finished with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Bam Adebayo added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyler Herro chipped in with 16 points.
Orlando was led by Franz Wagner, who finished with 18 points. Wendell Carter Jr. added 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Paolo Banchero finished with 14 points.
The Magic led by as many as 10 points in the first half, but the Heat rallied to take a 49-43 lead at halftime. Miami then pulled away in the second half to secure the victory.
The Heat will next play the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night, while the Magic will next play the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.
